  • Breast Augmentation;
  • Breast Lift;
  • Liposuction;
  • Tummy Tuck and more…

This blog is here to provide you information on frequently asked questions about mommy makeover. You can see the below questions and ask further questions, if you have any, to us.

When Is the Best Time for a Mummy Makeover?

Highly experienced healthcare professionals suggest for patients to wait for 6 months after breastfeeding period finishes. This allows the breasts to be stable in terms of shape and size. Also, it can help medical professionals to have more accurate surgical assessment for your breast surgery.

How Long is the Recovery?

The answer to this question is not fixed and can vary based on the number of plastic surgeries a patient has. In general, most mothers are able to recover completely from a simple mommy makeover in less than 9 weeks.

How Long Before I Can Go Back to Work?

Most patients are able to return to their daily lives only after 2 weeks. This time may vary depending on the number of operations you have and your metabolism.

When Can I Start to Exercise?

It is highly recommended for you to wait at least 8 weeks before doing any strenuous activities. The reason is that stitches need to dissolve and muscles need to recover. In order to get the optimum results from your treatments, you must refrain from heavy lifting, tiring exercises for at least 7 weeks. This applies for swimming as well. You may do light exercise after a month if approved by your medical healthcare professionals.

When Can I Continue to Drive?

Depending on the number of plastic surgeries you have and your metabolism, you may be required to stay in the hospital for 1 – 2 nights before your discharge.

During your recovery period, you should not drive. This usually takes approximately 10 days. You can contact your health professionals for further details about driving. As a rule of thumb, you should wait until you finish your healing process after the operations before continuing to drive. Not waiting the recovery period to be complete may inhibit your reaction time.

How Long Before I Can Travel?

Avoid any major travel for at least 7 days after surgery.
