Although the surgical angle of view is less in the operations performed with the closed technique, there is no possibility of a suture scar seen from the outside. In addition, the recovery time is relatively shorter than the open rhinoplasty method.

However, there are situations that the patient should pay attention, as follows:

·       Informing the doctor and anesthesiologist about all the details of the regular medication usage and your general health;

·       Removing any jewelry and accessories, and remove any nail polish from makeup and nails right before you enter for your nose job (Rhinoplasty) surgery;

·       Stopping to take medications that dilute blood such at least a week before of your nose job (Rhinoplasty) surgery;

·       Informing the doctor if you are experiencing ailments such as flu, cold, and cold;

·       Fasting before your nose job (Rhinoplasty) surgery, and avoid herbal teas that can increase bleeding such as ginger, turmeric, garlic, red wine, some types of peppers, olive oil;

·       Informing the doctor about women's menstrual periods. Even though they are not a medical obstacle to nose job (Rhinoplasty) surgery, it is not suitable in these periods to have nose job (Rhinoplasty) surgery as it may increase edema that may occur afterwards during the operation;

·       Stopping to smoke if you are a smoker since smoking can negatively affect the healing process.
