Use very slow and soft movements when applying makeup and combing your hair.

Avoid activities such as steam baths and saunas for several months. Because heat and steam increase edema.

You should use sunscreens regularly for up to 6 months. After plastic surgery, if the surgical scars are exposed to the sun, in the early period, they may appear as dark spots. For this reason, you can avoid the risk by minimizing your exposure to sunlight.

• Sports: From the 5th week after your surgery, you can start light exercises with the approval of your surgeon. Heavy lifting and strenuous running are still not recommended during this period. Consult with one of our healthcare professionals for more information.
• Sexual Intercourse: You should wait at least 3 weeks after your surgery for any kind of sexual activity.
• Alcohol and Smoking: Avoid drinking alcohol 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after surgery. Smoking and alcohol consumption can narrow vessels, disrupt tissue nutrition, and cause cell death, and inflammation.
• Driving: Driving is only allowed when you completely stop taking prescribed medication and can safely rotate your neck and shoulders. In general, this takes about 7 – 10 days for most patients.
